The Community-Enabled Analytics (CEA) program, run by Flipside Crypto for the AAVE ecosystem, has been a resounding success. Funded by a $95,000 grant received in August 2021, the program's objective was to provide on-demand analytics, tool creation, and drive community growth. It also aimed to allocate tokens to those contributing to the protocol's growth. Since Q3 2021, the program has seen 634 submissions, distributed 151 $AAVE to 129 unique users, and significantly, 98% of these new users had never held $AAVE before.
The community has been actively involved in producing various tools and dashboards. The top five outputs include the AAVE Liquidations Calculator, AAVE Weekly Ethereum Overview, Key Metrics Super Dashboard, Loan Explorer, and AAVE Liquidity Dashboard. The program has also been successful in retaining 69% of the distributed $AAVE within the ecosystem, surpassing the average retention of traditional airdrops or Liquidity Mining incentives.
Avi01 expressed gratitude towards HelloShreyas, 0xbilll, and the AAVE Grants DAO team for the opportunity to contribute to the community. They also invited feedback on the program and encouraged more people to join their Discord community of over 8,000 analysts1. The CEA program has evidently fostered a vibrant and engaged community, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the AAVE ecosystem.
